The ice cream function offers premium functions and features not available in budget machines. The powerful built-in compressor freezer allows for continuous use without the inconvenience of having to pre-freeze the stainless steel mixing bowl. The Whynter ICM-220SSY features an Extended Cooling function that prevents the ice cream mixture from melting and a Motor Protection function that stops the motor from churning to prevent overheating or damage to the motor when the mixture becomes solid.
The yogurt function incubates your choice of milk and yogurt starter at temperatures between 104ºF to 110ºF. Making homemade yogurt allows you to make your favorite style using your preferred ingredients such as Probiotics, organic, raw or non-dairy milks.
