W. S. Darley & Co. Dip Needle Surveying Compass With Case U.S.A. Vintage

Description

This is a vintage W.S. Darley & Co. engineering dip compass with original case. It is marked on the interior of both sides of the compass - W.S. Darley & Co.  Chicago U.S.A.
There is also an attached chain with cotter pin that is inserted into the small hole near the top of the compass which prevents the needle from continually moving while being transported.
The case measures approximately 4-3/4" x 4-3/4" x 1-1/2". Please check photos and ask questions before bidding or purchasing.
