Condition: I believe the handle is inlaid with lead (it' a very soft metal). The "STEEL" rod is being held into the handle with a nail (see pics), the nail does a great job of holding the rod in, it's not loose at all. Looks like the initials "C A" are carved into the wooden handle "OLD SCRIPT" style (see pics). The rod is straight but there's not much of a sharpening surface on the rod anymore.

I believe the handle is inlaid with lead (it' a very soft metal).
