Here is the story.  The first and only owner of these Hot Tub Pumps, built on a separate room to house the hot tub.  The tub was installed through an opening which was then filled in with a sliding glass door.  This was about 20 years ago.  The tub proved to be novel for around one or two year at which time the owner got tired of caring for it and drained it.  It set idle until last year when they decided they wanted to make that area into a play room for the kids and was not willing to take out the door to remove the tub.  So they cut it up.  The owners father salvaged the pumps, control board and heater circulation pump.  I am helping him dispose of the items salvaged.  The photo's show two motor/pump units, they are identical.  While they can be run on either 220 or 110 single phase they are currently wired for 220.  The pumps rotate freely.  They run 3450 RPM as do most pool or spa motor pumps.  These are 2 HP units.  In the second photo you can see there is some damage to the cover on the right unit.  That is the unit being offered for sale in this auction.  The unit to the left will be offered in a separate auction.  "Why you might ask."  The answer is my skill set with eBay does not include selling more then one item at a time.
The pumps and motor combination when packaged with most likely weight nearly 40 pounds and require a box 9x9x19 inches.  Shipping will only be UPS ground, but expect a fairly high shipping cost.
This is a no reserve auction with a very low starting price, the ad I copied from is offering the same unit for 5.00 (used) new cost are nearly 0.00.  We just want to be rid of this stuff, so am starting the bid very very low.
