Antique English 1860's Submarine Shaped Infant Nurser Feeder Bottle. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Offered for sale is an unusual mid 1860's???  glass infant feeding / baby nursing bottle / feeder. It could have also been used to feed an invalid confined to bed. This antique bottle has a unique submarine shape with the end looking hand blown to hold the molded base of the bottle. Lip or the mouth of the bottle looks like it was added after the molding of the base. Best feature of the bottle is the original screw top lid in working condition.
Never cleaned the bottle other then wiping it down once a year. Looks to be a couple very tiny chips on the lip, ( smooth ) only seen with magnification on the camera. No cracks on the base or lip of the bottle. Under magnification of the camera I can find little flee bites in the glass, more then likely when the glass was molded. I know very little about glass making, more then happy to send more pics on request. Selling the bottle as from the 1860's, what I was told time of purchase. Pic 11 not for sale gives an idea of time when these bottles were made.
