    Rare antique optical brass theodolite transit survey level of 20's, Stanley London, with box. Instrument is in good working order, it has one telescope, three level bottles, one magnetic compass and five small lens for scale and compass reading, both scales one at top and other at bottom is made of brass and silver as silver was used in old theodolites, there are very minor dust particles inside telescope lens else it has a clear and good vision, cross hairs inside telescope has become little dull, front brass cap of telescope and some accessories inside wooden box which includes box belt is missing, box is polished, overall condition of instrument is good for its old age. Theodolites are still used today for ultra high precision, optical alignment and measurement. It is indeed a rare collectible piece, would make a superb addition to any engineers desk or surveyors mantelpiece and surely a must for old theodolite collectors...
