Description
Ground Breaking Technology.
The Hornet 3 is based the same technology as the Stinger 3 and features the revolutionary first-in-class extended reach cone! The extended "Stinger" sits further down inside the intake plane to prevent nitrous from hitting the sidewalls on intakes with a high plane or spacer plate.. The Hornet 3 has a larger conical cone than the Stinger 3 plate, and is dual entry. This plate is capable of spraying 800HP with two .177 fuel solenoids & two .122 nitrous solenoids, and is also capable of flowing up to 880 with two .178 nitrous solenoids & two .310 fuel solenoids.
Dual Entry.
The Nitrous Outlet Hornet 3 plate has two inlets for nitrous and two for fuel. This allows you to spray either a huge shot of nitrous, or to have 2 individual stages.
Precise Atomization.
The Hornet 3 plate has a large unique cone shaped “stinger” that protrudes from the bottom portion of the plate into the center of the intake throat. Each Hornet has 16 discharge ports for nitrous and 16 discharge ports for fuel. The 16 atomized plumes of nitrous and fuel exit from the center of the stinger into the intake plenum in a 360 degree pattern completely saturating the air intake charge as it enters the intake plenum for even distribution.
Construction.
The Hornet plate is CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminum, has a black anodized body, red anodized stinger and is CNC engraved with the Nitrous Outlet logo and fuel/nitrous ports.
Application.
This plate will fit any single plane 4500 flange intake manifold, carbureted or EFI.
WARNING: 😀 Using nitrous is habit-forming. The more you have, the more you want. Too much is never enough. Symptoms are: Rapid heart rate, uncontrollable smiling and the urge to hit that WOT switch in rush hour traffic.
