K & E Keuffel & Esser 5060 F Engineers Survey Mining Transit scope C. 1930

Description

Beautiful Keuffel & Esser Co. transit scope in original box. Model 5060 F Serial number: 56631 (which puts it at being made in 1930).
This is being sold un-tested. I do not know how to use it or what should be lubricated so I'm not going to play around with it. I can tell you that the compass does not work. The needle moves freely but it does not point north. Also worth mentioning is that the box a bit beat up and is missing it's key. some of the original accessories are also missing.
