Apothecary Drug Store Jar Chamberlain's Tablets

Description

This is an apothecary drug store jar with a Chamberlain's Tablets label.  The tablets are recommended for biliousness - headache - indigestion caused by constipation!  The jar measures about 12 inches tall and about 5.25 inches wide and 6.25 inches deep.  So this piece does have some issues.  Most notable is the lid which has chips and nicks along the bottom and in the side.  The rim on the jar is in good condition with just a couple of small chips.  The jar does have manufacturing marks and bubbles which is common for glass this age.  There is a mark to the left on of the label and it is raised and can be felt inside but I believe this is a manufacturing mark.  So not in perfect condition but still a great piece for a collection!  And be sure to check out my shop, not2shabbyshop, for another apothecary jar and other vintage items!  Thanks for looking at this jar!
